Introducing Lady Katherine Housing and Care
27 October 2009
Lady Katherine Housing and Care takes its name from our founder, Lady Katherine Leveson, who in her will of 1674, provided for homes and care for older people.
Lady Katherine Housing and Care is situated in the tranquility of the beautiful countryside but is only two miles from Knowle and Balsall Common, and five miles from Solihull Town Centre.
Lady Katherine Housing and Care is set in a collection of historic early 18th century buildings that have been extensively modernised to cater for the specific needs of our residents. At the centre of these buildings is a charming courtyard, which forms a peaceful meeting place for residents and their visitors.
We offer both residential and sheltered accommodation. Our menu provides good home-made food and we also have facilities for relative’s guests to stay on site. There is a great sense of community and a varied programme of activities.
At the heart of the community at Temple Balsall are the Anglican Parish Church of St. Mary’s and Lady Katherine Leveson School. A number of residents are actively involved in the parish and all enjoy and support the activities of the school.
We are open to all who are in sympathy with our ethos. Pay us a visit. We would love to see you. Telephone our Head of Care, Diane Truepenny on 01564 772850 or The Reverend Kathy Lloyd-Roberts on 01564 772415.
