The
Church Year
The
Church Calendar
takes Christians
through the
seasons in
a way that
reminds them
of the life,
death and
resurrection
of Jesus
Christ. It
begins with
Advent, the
time of preparation
before Christmas
and continues
with Lent,
Good Friday
and Easter
when the
death and
resurrection
of Jesus
Christ is
remembered.
During
the year
the Christian
Calendar
also
remembers
many
saints
and martyrs
who inspire
us in
our journey
of faith.
